I dunno…I don’t think I want an exposed wall and “natural light” when I’m white knuckling it through some taco bell.

It just makes it easier for the drug runners to keep an eye on you

Those sinks look like they probably splash like crazy.

I don’t like exposed concrete, i want to live in a home, not a factory.
    Otherwise beautiful bathroom.

Absolutely beautiful. I love the whole aesthetic, but I’m definitely asking my neighbours whenever I want to use the bathroom

Looks cool! For a bathroom, wouldn’t exposed concrete be porous and harbour mould, or is this likely treated somehow?

The fuck Is the “Western Savanna Province”? this place is in Cundinamarca, just west of Bogotá.

Beautiful design but bathrooms feel better when they appear warm, inviting, and cozy. This feels cold and uninviting.

  9. Maybe it’s a tropical thing, because I’ve seen the same style of bathroom at a resort in Singapore. Nearly identical, if I remember correctly.

I cannot stress the importance of that skylight. Fell in love with the concept of long skylights in rooms/ hallways on an episode Grand Design and it’s the most amazing, logical, captivating, element to any room. Just look at how that room is elevated on a cloudy day.

Pretty sure this is a terrible idea for a bathroom – concrete absorbs some water and a bathroom is going to have plenty – it will lead to spalling: *Sealing is the best way to prevent moisture-related spalling. For new concrete, apply a penetrating waterproofing sealer 28 days after concrete placement and every few years thereafter.*

Additionally: *High relative humidity levels, warm temperatures and moist porous concrete create the perfect breeding ground for mold, bacteria and mildew.*
*While concrete itself doesn’t contain the organic materials for mold to feed on, it’s pores trap dust, pollen, micro organisms and salts, which can be food sources. When mold feeds on these particles, it excretes acids that degrade the concrete. And there are plenty of health concerns that come along with mold growth as well.*
*To prevent mold growth, it’s important to keep your concrete dry. Especially if that concrete is indoors.*

So just make sure it is sealed if you plan to live around it.

…and one day your sitting there surrounded by bubbles and three droogs pop up on the wall and just stare at you while they decide whether to rob you while you’re in the tub or wait til the show’s over …

The concrete in the top left looks like something in a multi-story carpark. It’s gross. Looks like they didn’t bother finishing the room. The wall out back I don’t mind for now but the concrete surface is going to age horribly – already got some unsightly streaks and blobs.

Cool cool and if you want to use the bathroom at night?

  15. MonstarGaming

The term for that specific type of concrete is “board formed concrete.”

    That’s so pretty![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)

Exposed concrete does it means there’s no coat protection?

  18. Actual_Candidate5456

This would be terrifying at night

Everyone loves getting peeped on when they’re in the shower
